Miss Ideal Nigeria is a scholarship pageant open to women from Nigeria between the ages of 16 and 26. The non bikini contest is judged on competitors' talent performances and interviews in addition to their physical appearance. It is run by the House of Twitch , an event management company based in Lagos , Nigeria that produces the MR IDEAL NIGERIA (One of West Africa's big three male pageants). In addition to a higher learning scholarship, the winner of the 2016 edition will have access to funds to start her own charity. The contest purpose "provides young women with a platform to build their professional and personal goals, while it also instills a spirit of community service through a variety of ambassadorial roles to various charities'
Miss Ideal Nigeria will tour the country promoting particular platform of interest. She will also take a trip to an exotic country while she represents Nigeria. The new Miss Ideal Nigeria will also walk away with wardrobe for a year and also shoes for a year worth 1 million naira, and an year modelling contract with XA international.
The current title-holder, Miss Ideal Nigeria , is Miss Lagos 2015, Sanrda Osamor who was crowned in June 2015, by her predecessor Princess Adesile (Miss Ideal Nigeria 2014). Princess Adesile placed top 10 at the Top Model of Colour in london 2014 while Sandra is the Nigerian representative to Miss Nubian International in London.
