Nollywood actress and mother of one, Genevieve Nnaji has just gotten herself a new crush in the Entertainment Industry and it’s no other person than Tinny Entertainment's rapper, Ycee.
In an exclusive interview with LIB, the ‘Jagaban’ crooner while discussing his latest EP, ‘The New Wave’ and other sensitive issues, revealed how hard he has been crushing on the 37-year-old actress.
When asked, who it would be if he's privileged to date one person in the Industry, the rapper without thinking, said:
'Genevieve Nnaji of course.
prodded further he said 'I didn't have to think about it. I like her so much because she's beautiful, she's smart and successful too.'
When asked if he doesn't worry about the age gap, the 24-year-old rapper said:
'It doesn't matter. It doesn't even look like she's older than me.
When our reporter implied if he likes Cougar women, the rapper burst into laughter and screamed: 'I don’t like Cougars Ooooo.’
Professing his love for Genevieve, he continued: I only like and love Genevieve Nnaji. Yes, she’s older than I, but she still looks amazing.’
Asked if he has made any attempt to make contact, Ycee said: 'Not really, I saw her just once. I ran into her at the airport a while ago and was taken aback. I was starstruck, she’s really beautiful and doesn’t look her age.
‘Sometimes, I do question myself if she’s actually older than me. But on a serious note, I’d love to date her; I know she can give me motherly care.'
On the possibility of making her his wife, he said, 'I have never really thought about that part but if it’s meant to happen between us, it's fine. There are situations where younger people marry the older ones. But if my mother watches this interview, am so dead, the rapper said as he laughs uncontrollably.
Media entrepreneur, Mo Abudu and popular CNN journalist Richard Quest went on early morning jog on the Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge yesterday. The duo also bumped into the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Nnamdi Okonkwo.

Two people have died following the partial collapse of a two-storey building under construction in Lekki, Lagos. Work had been ongoing on the site located at NICON Town Estate, off Admiralty Way, Lekki, when the building fell, trapping workers beneath the debris.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, were on site shortly after the collapse today to help with resue opeartions. Sadly, 2 lives were lost, as revealed by LASEMA sources.

In an interview with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, Caitlyn Jenner said she 's been frozen out by her stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian as she hasn't spoken to her in a couple of years.
"She doesn't want to talk to me, She hasn't talked to me in, like, two years". the former Olympic athlete, 67, told Cohen on Radio Andy on SiriusXM. "
"That's sad," Jenner continued.
"I was very very close to Khloé, I mean I had 23 years of raising her. I met Khloe when she was 5 years old."
When the Bravo host asked if that hurt, he replied,
"Of course it hurts. Cause she was on Howard Stern and called me a liar. And that kind of pissed me off too cause I never lied to her, you know, if I didn't tell her everything. First of all, she never asked."
Jenner explained that Kim Kardashian did ask about her transition from Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn.
"Kim asked and I brought her in and told her before I did anything. I don't know if I got too heavily into actually transitioning but I told her all my story"
The gold medallist, who came out as a trans women in an interview with Diane Sawyer in April 2015, also told Cohen that her ex-wife Kris Jenner is so hurt over her newly released memoir, The Secrets of My Life, "
"She called me up and said she never wanted to talk to me again, so I haven't called her back." said Caitlyn.
"My book is honest and it's my story and I'm sorry she feels that way," Jenner continued. "And I just don't want her to alienate me from my children." she added.
She admitted that she's not sure what her relationship is going to be with her former stepchildren, and her own daughters with Jenner, Kendal and Kylie.
"I don't know, we'll see how that goes off in the future," she said.
